Introduction

April Two, 2010
All right. My name is Madeline. I love horses and riding, and I love writing and reading. I'm newly fourteen, and I'm in eighth grade.
This is my new blog: Friends Across The Country. This is my Spring Break 2010, and my best friends are all going somewhere. Luckily, my boyfriend, Spencer, isn't. That doesn't mean I don't miss my bffs though!
Emma: She left for Florida yesterday with another family of friends. She'll be gone at least until Friday.
Caitlin: She left for Las Vegas today with her family. She'll be gone at least until Friday.
Anja (An-ya): She left for Washington D.C. today with her family. She'll be gone at least until Friday.
Emily: She's leaving Monday night for Detriot, then Florida. She'll be gone at least until Friday.
Last night Emily, Anja, Caitlin, and Spencer met me downtown for a (surprise) birthday celebration--a week ago, today (Which means--Hey! I'm 14 and a week today!). I got an amazing sign that says "Having no freckles is like having no stars in the sky". I love it, guys! Thanks.
We walked around, saw Emma (Who forgot to poke Spencer--She always pokes him and says "Gaf gaf gaf". It's her 'thing'.) and then went to see "How To Train Your Dragon." It was good!
So this blog is about my boring days, staying home, painting my room, missing my pals. No one's gonna read it except them (If even THEY do) when they come back. I'm doing this for some structure in my Spring Break.
