Day Six

April Seven, 2010
So. I just did yesterday's post. Joy.
I woke up at like 9:50 this morning. It's gotta be a Madeline sleep-in RECORD! But that's because I had a hard time getting to sleep last night.
So I basically just hung out. Had breakfast, read, watched T.V., wrote a short story. In the middle of the day I caught myself looking up reining stallions at stud on the Internet, because I'm kind of obsessed with this filly, Blues Melody Kid. She's basically a reiner if only because of her blood, and she's for sale at a reasonable price. Anyway, after that I watched more T.V., had lunch, and went hiking/jogging again. Then I went to riding. It was a good lesson. Dusty was being good, as usual. Once he ducked out of the side of one, but after that he was fine, even though he did do a few of his big-huge-oh-I'll-lift-up-my-feet-really-super-high-and-try-to-unseat-Madeline-jumps, those are fun, so I don't mind. The unseating thing never works on me. Hah.
So now I just had dinner. I'm back from the barn. Yum yum. And I'm going to go take a shower and watch Ponyo, which I got from Blockbuster. Never seen it before.

Emily: Poor her. The basement is flooded, probably.
Caitlin: I bet it's not raining there either.
Anja: "Hey Dad? Is it illegal to paint the White House a different color than white, even if you're the President? I think it would look good in glow-in-the-dark purple . . ."
